As
promised, here is the little feature I had in the most recent Cronulla
Magazine. Thank you so much to the team there, I had a great time being part of
the shoot and giving an insight as to what it is I do.
Twelve months after completing her fashion studies at St George
TAFE, Rychelle Carter has launched her own label, Elleque.
Aimed at women aged 15 to 30, Elleque gear is all about summer —
denim shorts, boob tubes and other basic essentials, with one exception…a
gorgeous backless ivory-and-lace gown which would be perfect for the summer
party season or the school formal.
At the moment, Rychelle is a one-woman show of designer,
pattern-maker, cutter and sewer, which lets her ‘‘look expensive at an
affordable price’’.
Tops average at $30 to $50 and shorts in one-off fabrics about
$85. The most expensive pieces in the collection, the gowns she loves, cost
$300.
