ITS ALL ABOUT WHITE: CROTCHET.LACE.SHELLS

As some of you may be well aware by now, elleque’s favourite colour/ my staple that I use above all others is the colour white, ivory, cream etc etc I love all the different shades it comes in. 

Since I can remember I have always been obsessed with everything in the form of white and as of late it’s all about crotchet, lace, wall hangings, doilies, bags rings etc.  The list is endless.

As i stalk the internet world late at night, which i do quite often, i come across some amazing blogs, i happened to be on one of my favourite and regular blogs, MORE DESIGN PLEASE, which features everything from fashion/ design/ cooking/ styling and DIY projects. And to my excitement i stumbled across this ever so gorgeous photo shoot from Jen Awad, a Los Angeles native designer from Peruvian and Egyptian descent. I cant express how much i instantly feel in love with this collection and the photo shoot, its just beautiful, i almost was tempted not to share it as i wanted to keep it all to myslef. i hope that who ever sees this post, will fall in love with it as much as my heart has. Its inspired me to maybe take on an all white collection next.

YOUNG TALENT

It's quarter to 11 at night, its raining outside, im all cosy and rugged up in bed, and i'm one step closer to making the 2011/12 high summer range come true. I  have just found my photographer and i am so much closer to making this come to life. lucia pang. this is one talented young lady, and i'm so excited for you all to embrace and fall in love with her photos like i have. 

I am seventeen years of age and a fashion, commercial and portrait photographer based in Sydney Australia.

After picking up a professional camera, I have developed a larger than life passion for shooting and am currently finding a peaceful balance with my school work and photography. In 2010 at age fifteen, I won the People’s Choice national photo award (YouthWeek). In the same year, I was selected to fly over to the United States to attend one of the most prestigious fashion workshops held by Teen Vogue magazine. I have collaborated with many artists and designers and have took my photography to and worked overseas in cities such as Hong Kong, Los Angeles and New York City.

SUMMERRRR

Bring on summer, shindigs, dancing around the fire and lazy afternoon bike rides in the setting sun. 

        

I'm counting down the days till the sun starts to hang around a bit longer, there is that relaxing warmth still in the air at 8pm at night and fleetwood mac is playing in the background. 

Not long now, we have already had the shortest day of the year, so its only a matter  of time now till the days start lasting longer. 

After spending a quite and relaxing afternoon outside in the warm winter sun in my pjs and with a tea, i couldn't help start letting my imagination wonder. 

I have already designed my summer range for 2011/12  and am a bit excited so here is a sneak pic of my inspiration.
