BLACK AND WHITE

I  often forget how stunning black and white photos can be. while still being so complex it all becomes simple for a moment, capturing beauty in all its forms.

FASHION WEEK RAFW 2011

BACKSTAGE

FREEBIE
on my way home.

And so it begins. a week filled of endless blogging, a stamped of amazingly stylish dressed people/ clebs, gorgeous models wandering around sydney harbour and most importantly captivating shows by our ever so talented aussie designs. Welcome to Rousemount Australian Fashion Week. What a crazy morning it was, although i shall only be attending the Bec & Bridge fashion show this year, i cant wait to see what is install for us all, from the long list of other designers. So myself and a good friend Barbara from trulele arived at the OPT and caught up with some of the b&b team. All very exciting it was, when we spotted some bloggers by the likes of Nicole Warne from GARY PEPPER VINTAGE, oraclefox, stylestalker and harperandharley. Such an eventful morning. Oh and did i mention i got seated 2nd row. Amazing.

The girls from Bec and Bridge did an amazing show, mixing prints inspired by the chrysler building in new york and and the dahlia, alongside beautiful silks and viscose, tactile suede features in belts, trousers ad a wrap dress in a deep rust shade, a soft palete was present as well of lilac, plae gold dove grey and white, whit hints of pastel pinks and greens. With the 70's and lauren Hutton as there muse, i am sure this collection will be a standout.

.MELBOURNE.

.GPV LOVE.

Yesterday afternoon, i arrived home from melbourne, with a lovely friend kelly anne jackson. We decided to randomly book flights down to melbourne for 5 days and visit the finders keepers markets and then let our minds wonder and explore the  beauty melbourne has to offer. While  there we walked the streets of brunswick and smith, set up little photo shoots of our bargin buys and became each others muse when photographing.  I must add that i have been looking for a while and finally found a floppy felt hat, in which became my main feature and couldn't help but be inspired to take a photo the morning we left when i saw a post by one of my favourite bloggers and muse Nicole Warne from Gary Pepper Vintage. http://garypeppervintage.blogspot.com/2011/03/w-i-n-e.html
