YOUNG TALENT

It's quarter to 11 at night, its raining outside, im all cosy and rugged up in bed, and i'm one step closer to making the 2011/12 high summer range come true. I  have just found my photographer and i am so much closer to making this come to life. lucia pang. this is one talented young lady, and i'm so excited for you all to embrace and fall in love with her photos like i have.

I am seventeen years of age and a fashion, commercial and portrait photographer based in Sydney Australia.

After picking up a professional camera, I have developed a larger than life passion for shooting and am currently finding a peaceful balance with my school work and photography. In 2010 at age fifteen, I won the People’s Choice national photo award (YouthWeek). In the same year, I was selected to fly over to the United States to attend one of the most prestigious fashion workshops held by Teen Vogue magazine. I have collaborated with many artists and designers and have took my photography to and worked overseas in cities such as Hong Kong, Los Angeles and New York City.

Also here are my mood boards which i am happy to share with all your pretty little faces and get you excited for what is to come.

RED VELVET CUPCAKES.  :) so as a little treat i shall be making a batch this afternoon, to take on my journey.
ive added the recipe for any lovers, thanks to joyofbaking.com
 enjoy xx

here are a few behind the scenes photos of the two at my couture photoshoot. :)

i cant wait to take some photos of my own attempt.

Red Velvet Cupcakes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and line 12 muffin tins with paper cupcake liners. In a large bowl sift together the flour, salt, and cocoa powder.

In the bowl of your electric mixer, or with a hand mixer, beat the butter until soft (about 1-2 minutes). Add the sugar and beat until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes). Add the egg and beat until incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.Add the vanilla extract and beat until combined.

In a measuring cup whisk the buttermilk with the red food coloring. With the mixer on low speed, alternately add the flour mixture and buttermilk to the butter mixture, in three additions, beginning and ending with the flour.
In a small cup combine the vinegar and baking soda. Allow the mixture to fizz and then quickly fold into the cake batter.
Working quickly, divide the batter evenly among the 12  muffin cups and smooth the tops with an offset spatula or the back of a spoon.Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 18 -23 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cupcakes comes out clean.

Cool the cakes in their pans on a wire rack for 10 minutes and them remove from pan. Let cool completely before frosting. Either spread the frosting with a knife or offset spatula, or use a large 1M Wilton open star decorating tip to pipe the frosting.

Cream Cheese Frosting:In the bowl of your electric mixer, or with a hand mixer, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the vanilla and confectioners sugar and beat until smooth. Using the whisk attachment, gradually add the heavy cream and whip until the frosting is thick enough to pipe. Add more sugar or cream as needed to get the right consistency.
Makes 12 cupcakes.

ITS JUST HEATING UP.!!!

ROSIE HUNTINGTON WHITELEY

AND TROUT.ORANGE.CORAL.

AND ODD MIX OF WORDS I KNOW BUT HERE ME OUT.

ROSIE HUNGTINGTON WHITELEY -first can this girl get any hotter, i can guarantee she will be on the cover of almost every magazine in the next 2 weeks due to her debut as the hot new face in transformers 3. At only 24 not only has she conquered the modelling world, become a victoria secret model dating a high profile british actor, and she has now gone into acting.

oh did i mention she is gorgeous and one stylish girl, im sure we and the world will be watching her fashion closely.

and TROUT/ ORANGE / CORAL,  this colour has been in my face and being flashed across every fashion magazine since the beginning of winter and guaranteed to be oh so hot this summer. i was unsure of its name, i was going by orange, coral, until i  i came across the fabric the other day and they called it trout, so trout is what i am calling it. such a bright bold colour, im so in love with it and cant wait to use it in my collection at the end of this yr. but i just had to share it with you.

i would have done two separate posts but i couldn't resist. :p
